Forgotten Obelisk is a very fast paced and challenging little roguelike FPS where you blast monsters in a fully destructible voxel-based arena.
Created for the 7dfps game jam, Forgotten Obelisk is an intense little roguelike FPS with ray traced graphics, set in a fully destructible arena that encircles a large obelisk. You need to blast waves of enemies and survive for as long as possible. Between each wave you can choose an upgrade that can help you a little.
The visuals and gameplay are pretty simple in Forgotten Obelisk and you’ll die a lot initially, but once you get to grips with it then it’s a very addictive game. The gameplay is very fast and the way the arena is slowly destroyed by your shots is very cool. Just be sure to get the “single gun/double power” upgrade as soon as possible – it’s a real life saver!
