Forgotten Tunnels: Episode 3 is an incredibly intense first person horror adventure set within a mysterious labyrinthine tunnel system that leads you to a deep and dark place.
Episodes 1 and 2 of Forgotten Tunnels were featured on Free Game Planet a while ago and they are terrifying experiences, but developer Lost Bullet is really pulling out all the stops with the third instalment. Forgotten Tunnels: Episode 3 sees you being teleported from a mysterious research facility into the depths of a strange labyrinthine tunnel system. You need to explore the tunnels, break three seals and (hopefully) find some means of escape. However, you’re not alone down there…
Forgotten Tunnels: Episode 3 torments you with a wide variety of different monsters, mysterious entities and grotesque abominations during its 30/45 minute play time. It’s split up into different chapters, with each one having a different theme, so you’re never sure what to expect next.
The environmental design is very impressive, the monsters are suitably terrifying and there are lots of clever little touches throughout that elevate it to being much more than just a scare fest. Every step you take is filled with trepidation and the atmosphere is very intense – thanks largely to the superb audio design. You really won’t forget your journey through these forgotten funnels. Highly recommended.
