From Flames is an atmospheric retro styled post-apocalyptic first person horror game where you discover the dark secrets hidden within a mysterious old church.
Drawing inspiration from Fingerbones and Silent Hill, in From Flames you take on the role of a scavenger who discovers an old church whilst roaming a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Low on food, you decide to check it out, which may be your undoing, or perhaps not – there are five different endings to discover depending on your actions!
From Flames takes around 15 minutes to play through (more it you search for all the endings) and really impresses with its stylish retro aesthetic, creepy atmosphere and dark narrative that takes some pretty big twists. There’s a lot to discover as you explore in, around and under the church, and while none of the endings are particularly happy, some of your character’s fates are much worse than others! Highly recommended.
