Generic Fishing Game is a surprising little retro fishing horror game where you enjoy a peaceful afternoon on a lake and catch a few fish.
It goes without saying that Generic Fishing Game is for from a generic fishing game, but to say too much about why will ruin the experience. Suffice to say there’s a lot more to it than initially meets the eye and it makes for a very eventful fishing trip.
There are a couple of frustrating sections (so much so that it feels like the game is trolling you at times), but it’s a fun little game with charming retro visuals, a great sense of humor and lots of silly surprises. A crazy little fishing game well worth catching.
