Created in Pico-8, Get Out of this Dungeon is a simple but well crafted platforming adventure that sees you searching for six lost gems that will allow you to open the door to escape the dungeon you’re trapped in. You have 99 lives to achieve this task, which may seem like a lot, but the lives can start dropping like flies once you reach the harder sections of the game. In true metroidvania fashion, some areas of the dungeon are inaccessible initially, but once you unlock the relevant skills you;ll be able to enter them.
Taking around 20 minutes to play through, Get Out of this Dungeon really impresses with its clever world design, challenging precision platforming gameplay and charming pixel art visuals. A bite-sized metroidvania adventure well worth embarking on.
