Goldrush 64 is a Nintendo 64 styled first person action platforming collectathon where you collect gold and escape to the exit while avoiding monsters from an alternate reality.
The main goal in Goldrush 64 is to collect enough gold in an old abandoned mine to unlock the exit. It’s a perilous place, filled with deadly hazards, but there’s also an alternate reality that’s even deadlier. You use your special goggles to view the alternate reality. This allows you to see new routes through the mine, but also enemies which will attack you. They’re pretty powerful too so you need to be careful of their attacks.
It’s a great little throwback to classic N64 style collectathon platforming, that also has some fun new ideas up its sleeve. The level design and N64 styled visuals are great and the reality shifting is a great touch. Highly recommended.
