Goodbye Gordon is a funny and freaky little five minute Half-Life horror game where you’re stalked by self-aware Dr. Coomer clones that want you to pay back the 6 PlayCoins™ you owe them.
Drawing inspiration from WayneRadioTV’s hilarious “Half-Life VR but the AI is Self-Aware” streams, Goodbye Gordon follows Gordon Freeman as he returns to an alternate version of Black Mesa that’s overrun with clones of Dr. Coomer (a scientist who just appears as a name on a locker in Half-Life, but has become a character in his own right in the HLVRAI streams).
Goodbye Gordon takes around five minutes to play and is pretty much first-person Pac-Man, but you’re chased by a maniacal Dr. Coomer clones. You need to dodge Dr. Coomer’s advances while you collect the six PlayCoins™ scattered around the facility. It’s a fun little game with a delightfully silly premise and the glitchy Dr. Coomer makes for a surprisingly scary antagonist. See if you can collect the coins before he gets a hold of you!
