Gornom is a freaky little pixel art horror game where a freaky monster possesses you and tries to make you leave your home.
Created for the Corona Jam by Cube Legal, in Gornom you take on the role of a lone man whose power goes out while he is reading one night. While trying to fix the power it soon becomes clear that you’re not alone and there’s a freaky monster that wants to kill you. Initially it tries to possess you and make you go outside where it will kill you, but it won’t stay out there forever, you’ll need to find some way to fend it off before it kills you.
Gornom takes around 15 minutes to play through and dies have a few rough edges, but it’s a fun little horror game with some very creepy moments. The character possession is a nice touch and the monster has an interesting SCP-esque lore. Well worth checking out for a freaky bit of fun.
