Half-True is a little interactive diorama that aims to raise awareness of food sustainability and the consequences of excessive animal farming on the environment and us.
The stylish low poly diorama of Half-True is split up into two halves that are on the top and bottom of a little floating island. One side features a beautiful little chunk of countryside where you can click on different areas to build structures that aid sustainable for sources that aren’t detrimental to the environment. On the other side is the same chunk of land, which has been decimated by excessive animal farming techniques. As you build up the ‘good’ or ‘bad’ side of the diorama then you are presented with some pretty shocking facts that may put things into perspective.
It’s got a message that a lot of people won’t want to hear, but Half-True is an eye opening experience. Animal farming is a very inefficient and inhumane process that often creates an unhealthy food source for the consumer. There’s no need to give up meat altogether either, but eating a little less and trying to pay attention to where it comes form could do you and the world a whole lot of good.
