HeroGollum’s IT is a short and scary fan made horror game based on the latest IT movie, that sees you attempting to solve puzzles and survive Pennywise’s attacks.
HeroGollum’s IT is composed of three short mini-games, the first is a short point and click adventure, the second sees you avoiding demon attacks in the sewers and the third (and scariest) is a Five Night at Freddy’s-esque section that brings you face to face with Pennywise the Clown.
The first two mini-games are creepy and fun to figure out, but it’s the third mini-game that’s the star of the show. It tasks you with keeping an eye on a painting with a monster inside it and watching a slideshow that randomly has images of Pennywise the Clown in it. Turn your back on the painting for too long and the monster will jump out, but if Pennywise pops up in a picture and you don’t open the garage door to let him out then he’ll jump out and get you.
HeroGollum’s IT is pretty rough around the edges and the first two mini-games aren’t that scary but the thrid one more than makes up for that. It makes for a great little trilogy of IT-themed horror mini games with some very intense jump scares!
