Huge Enemy is an intense and spectacle-filled side-scrolling arcade shoot ‘em up where you fight enemies in the foreground and the background in a dark Sci-Fi universe.
You know the drill – you’re a lone fighter who must battle massive swarms of alien ships and gigantic bosses to save the human race. You have four upgradeable weapons, a mega weapon, a weapon specifically for shooting bosses in the background, a healing beam and the ability to dodge bullets and enemies by momentarily flying into the background. All in all, your shi[p is pretty badass, but you’ll need to pilot it well to blast your way through the games 11 large levels and 14 massive bosses.
It does get a little repetitive, but other than that Huge Enemy delivers a fantastic slice of arcade shoot ‘em up action. The visuals are stunning, with beautiful backdrops, massive bosses and vast swarms of enemies hurtling across the screen. A Spectacle-filled shoot ‘em up well worth pulling the trigger on.
