I need to know more is a stylish experimental puzzle platforming adventure that sees you searching for knowledge in a surreal dream-like world.
In I need to know more you control a little humanoid shaped being with a large glowing eye, who inadvertently sets out on a quest for knowledge. While walking through the woods a voice starts talking to you, departing life lessons and knowledge to you while encouraging you to travel through portals to mysterious worlds.
Each of the worlds you travel through have a different theme and a slightly different style of gameplay. You deal with logic puzzles, precision platforming and physics based puzzles as you make your way through each level, with you ending each level by picking up a book of knowledge and travelling through a portal.
The ending feels quite abrupt and the third level could really do with a checkpoint system but it’s a great little puzzle platforming adventure with a diverse array of puzzles and lots of visually stunning artwork. You’re never too sure what you’re going to get when you go through a portal, but it’s always interesting and there’s always something new to discover on your quest for knowledge.
