I OPENED THE WALLS AND FOUND SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL is a surreal and visually striking Sci-Fi horror adventure where you manage to follow a ball into a mind-bending fourth dimension.
Drawing Inspiration from Color Out of Space and Condemned, I OPENED THE WALLS AND FOUND SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL takes you on a short and surreal journey filled with morphing architecture and cosmic dread. In the game your character notices that a ball is turning, but it’s not turning in any of the normal three dimensions. It seems to be turning in a fourth dimension and when you manage to follow it then the enormity of that fourth dimension opens up to you. There is no going back.
As you make your way through the surreal world of I OPENED THE WALLS AND FOUND SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL you can use the left and right mouse buttons to make you move through the fourth dimension. When you do this the world shifts and distorts around you , clearing obstacles and making new pathways for you to pass through. You’re not alone in there though – there are mysterious masked bodies that hand in the air and a feeling that some presence is ushering you towards enlightenment.
It’s a fascinating experience that is both filled with equal parts dread and wonder. It feels like you’ve stumbled into a cosmic mystery and the way the game world shifts around you as you traverse the fourth dimension is fantastic. When you’re finished you won’t want to return to your plain old 3D world!
