ICBM is a short and intense psychological horror visual novel where you are an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile with a nuclear warhead.
Set in an alternate 1950’s, the government in ICBM has developed a technology that uses human brains instead of computers to guide and operate its missiles. You are one such brain and are given a series of missions that involve you guiding ICBMs and blowing up targets – often with the massive loss of human lives.
Taking around 10 minutes to play through, it’s a short and intense experience that does a great job of immersing you in the world. It’s a standalone game, but it’s also a teaser for another upcoming game (that’s not a visual novel), set in the same world. Which is great news, because by the end you’ll be dying to learn more about the fascinating wartorn world of ICBM.
