I’m With You In Rockland is a strange, sinister and surreal little first person adventure based on the poem Howl, by Allen Ginsberg.
In I’m With You In Rockland you explore a creepy old mental asylum that can changes its structure when your back is turned. As you make your way through the asylum you solve the occasional puzzle, take in the beautiful artwork and listen as a narrator recites sections of Allen Ginsberg’s seminal Howl poem.
It’s not a full blown horror game, but there is a very tense and forboding atmosphere in I’m With You In Rockland – partly thanks to your shifting mental asylum surroundings and partly thanks to the excellent narration of the poem. The rhythms and tones of the poem are conveyed perfectly and it builds up to climax that is breathtaking. Highly recommended.
