Incident at Grove Lake is a tense found footage alien abduction horror game where you investigate footage of an abduction stolen from Area 51.
In Incident at Grove Lake you are a conspiracy theorist who has managed to meet with someone who’s stolen a top secret VHS tape from Area 51. The men in black are trying to contain the incident though, so you’d better be careful. You take the tape back to your office and start to watch a real alien encounter of the third kind..
Taking around 20 minutes to play through, Incident at Grove Lake does have some pacing issues and could do without quite a lot of the earlier walking sections. Aside from that though, it’s a great little horror game with some very unsettling moments and a real sense of awe (and horror) when you encounter the aliens. A close encounter well worth encountering.
