Inside | Out is a very cleverly crafted first person puzzle adventure set within a recursive dome which you are simultaneously inside of and can view in-front of you on a little table.
In Inside | Out you find yourself trapped within a large snow globe-esque dome that contains a small area of land and a table. On top of the table is a miniature version of the same dome that you’re inside and if you introduce objects into it then it can affect the dome that you are in. So for instance, if you turn off a lamp that’s aimed at the dome then it will make your dome go dark, or if you move a tree trunk across a chasm in the dome then the same will happen in yours, allowing you to cross.
It’s a fantastic little puzzle adventure with some very creative puzzle design that makes inventive use of its recursive snowglobe world. The art design is excellent and the many ways your environment changes throughout are clevelry implemented. Forget thinking outside the box, Inside | Out tasks you with thinking outside and inside the box simultaneously. Highly recommended.
