ITAZURA MADNESS is a wonderfully anarchic cutepop roguelike where you punch your way to the top of a tower to be granted anything your heart desires.
Created for Madness Day on Newgrounds (a celebration of the Madness series), ITAZURA MADNESS features a unique fusion of Punchout, roguelike elements and quirky Madness inspired characters. A mysterious tower has sprouted out of the desert in Nevada and it’s said that anyone who makes it to the top will be granted one wish. However, to do so you’ll need to fight your way up its many floors and defeat seven challenging bosses.
The gameplay in ITAZURA MADNESS is easy to pick up and play, but requires a little concentration to succeed. You can punch with your left and right hands and you can dodge left or right to avoid incoming attacks. Along the way you earn lots of perks and upgrades, along with an assortment of melee and ranged weapons. There are also extra playable characters to unlock if you manage to make your way high enough up the tower.
It’s a lot of fun punching your way up the tower, with fast paced combat, lots of quirky characters to meet and a huge array of weapons and items to collect. It’s also very addictive and will keep you coming back until you beat the tower. Highly recommended.
