Kandinhale is a dark narrative-driven RPG Maker adventure set in a candy world, where you attempt to escape the clutches of a company that’s experimenting on you.
Taking place in a world where everyone is made of candy, Kandinhale follows the story of a young muffin-headed man who finds himself locked up in a factory where he;s being experimented on. There are several other test subjects there too, as well as the nefarious Dr. Sugar and his henchmen. You’ll need to explore the factory, discover secrets, solve puzzles and avoid detection as you try to make your escape. There are seven endings depending on your actions.
Taking around 45 minutes to play through (you actually have a one hour time limit that counts down), it’s a well crafted adventure with an interesting candy-based world, great character designs and a deliciously dark story. A twisted little treat packed full of flavor. Highly recommended.
