Librood is a stylish and surreal little narrative adventure in which a girl with a very powerful imagination manifests objects and becomes more secluded with every book she reads.
In Librood your character has a mysterious illness that affects her imagination, allowing her to physically manifest the things that she reads about. Because of this illness she really shouldn’t read, but she loves books, so continues to do so anyway. With each book she reads a new creature or object manifests, often along with strange shadowy figures that just stand there, watching. With every imagined scene her disease gets worse and she becomes more secluded – maybe she’s imagining everything, is the room even real?
It’s a strange and surreal little game with beautiful visuals and a great sense of atmosphere. Reading may not be good for your character, but you’re always compelled to find the next book and see what incredible things burst out of her imagination. A remarkable little experience that demonstrates the power of a good book and an active imagination.
