Life [1.0] is a beautiful, surreal and rather unsettling first person experience that explores the fatality of life and frustration inspired by Jean Pierre Raynaud realisations, as you venture through a series of rooms that only offer the illusion of choice.
Life [1.0] is a series of rooms interconnected by long corridors that symbolize the passing of time. Each room is representative of a different stage of your life and appears to offer a choice of actions through the doors that are scattered around the area. However in this game there are no choices, most of the doors are just there to taunt you and you will inevitably only be able to choose themost depressing option in your constant, linear journey towards your final destination – death.
It’s not a pleasant expereince, but that’s the point and it does what all good works of art should do – it makes you feel. An interesting and captivating interactive window that allows you to peer into the futility of life.
