Liminal Memory is an eerie PS1 styled liminal horror game where you delve into old memories and break them.
In Liminal Memory you have a photo book with eight different pictures that lead to eight different memories from your life. These range from when you were a small child playing in a pool to catching a train with a shadowy entity.
The memories are often beautiful and tranquil, but also a little unsettling and often frequented by a mysterious shadowy figure with glowing white eyes. You can even break some of the memories if you stray from the original path, leading to some very creepy situations.
It’s a great little game with an interesting mix of tranquillity and horror. It does a great job of allowing you to piece together parts of your character’s life and it has a very dreamlike and ethereal vibe which really makes you feel like you’re walking through memories. Highly recommended.
