Lock Up is a powerful little narrative experience that sees you making decisions that affect the lives of citizens living under a strict Iockdown due to a deadly disease.
Taking place in a near future dystopian city, Lock Up follows the stories of different people who have been affected by a strict lookdown caused by a disease called Y. pestis (Covid on steroids). Interestingly, the story is played out in sixteen ten second fragments and not only are the fragments told from different people’s perspective, but their choices affect the other characters’ lives.
It’s a cleverly constructed game that tells a powerful story and allows you to experience tough decisions during lockdown though multiple perpetivies. You experience their collective lives and the effects they have on each other.
