LOVOT is a charming little puzzle adventure where a robot uses its charge to activate electronics, solve puzzles and save its friend.
Created for the Unity 1 Week Game Jam by Neko Donut (creator of ROOM), in LOVOT you control a cute little robot who is attempting to revive its robot buddy. Your friend needs five batteries worth of charge to revive them and you only have two, so you need to explore, solve puzzles and find more batteries.
As you explore you find various electrical objects that require power to make them operate. To do this you sacrifice the charge in your batteries. There is a charging station nearby where you can recharge and often activating the electronics will give you useful items or an extra battery.
Taking around 5-10 minutes to play through, LOVOT is a delightful little puzzle adventure with a charming hand drawn art style and creative puzzle design. There’s a real warmth and playfulness to the world design and your cute little robots heroic mission to save its buddy is very endearing. Highly recommended.
