Meat Madness is an unsettling first person platforming cosmic horror adventure where you jump down a gigantic meat hole to gather the DNA of dying humans.
Created for Games Den Quicker, Meat Madness is a gruesome first person platformer where your job is to gather the DNA of dying employees who are trapped inside a giant sentient meat hole. It takes place on a massive meaty planet that mankind has found and decided to mine for meat. The meat appears to be sentient though so many employees are lost.
To combat the loss of employees your company sends operatives such as yourself into the hole to scan them and gather DNA so that they can create clones. They then send the clones home and their loved ones are none the wiser (yeah, this company even manages to make Amazon’s employment standards look good).
The gameplay in Meat Madness is fairly simple but challenging (particularly near the end), with you attempting to jump down the hole in small enough increments so as not to break your legs. You also need to keep an eye out for employees who are trapped in the meat so you can scan them (and maybe put them out of their misery).
It would be nice if there was a big monster reveal at the end to add a bit more of a wow factor and the final descent seems a little unfair, but it’s a fun and delightfully disturbing premise. A mad meaty hole well worth jumping down.
