Mega Maker allows players to build, play and share Mega Man levels using a Mario Maker-style suite of easily accessible editing tools and a wide array of tile sets, enemies and bosses.
Created by dedicated fans of the Blue Bomber, Mega Maker offers a comprehensive suite of level creation tools that allow you to create your own Mega Man adventures. You can choose between 46 different enemies, 12 bosses, 40 backgrounds, 24 special weapons (including 2 brand new ones), 129 tile sets, 29 level objects and 63 different music tracks taken from Mega Man’s official outings. This allows you to make pretty much anything you like, including traditional levels, puzzle rooms or automatic levels, then share them with players from around the world.
Mega Maker is a fan made project made without the permission of Capcom, so you might want to get in on the action quick before their lawyers get involved. It may not be quite as polished as Mario Maker, but it’s easy to use, has plenty of construction possibilities and allows you to knock up full Mega Man stages pretty quickly. Hopefully Capcom let Mega Maker live as it’s a perfect use of the Mega Man IP and it a very impressive achievement in its own right. Highly Recommended.
