Players encounter an eccentric cast of characters, from the faceless protagonist Muffles to the pseudo-religious Scarlet and the shock-addicted android Constant. The game’s distinct visual style—boasting a minimalist three-color palette—complements its absurdist approach to storytelling.
The pixel artwork is excellent and It’s got some fun ideas, such as unlockable faces that grant new abilities and bizarre status effects like “Looking for Shiv”. It makes for an interesting and entertaining journey through this criminal underworld. Highly redommended.
