Museum of All Things is an incredible virtual museum experience that may just contain everything that’s ever existed.
In Museum of All Things every exhibit corresponds to a different Wikipedia article, complete with text and images downloaded from Wikipedia. Each area is presented as an actual museum exhibit, with all of the images properly framed and accompanied by a little descriptive text.
Each exhibit has multiple exits leading to after exhibits on different subjects, from the Godot Engine to leech therapy. You can search for a specific topic or you can just wander around. The place is pretty much infinite, so you can wander about forever and if you’re quick enough you can even see the exhibits being constructed on-the-fly.
It’s a fantastic concept and the liminal space presentation of it all is perfect. It makes for a chilled out and addictive experience as you keep wanting to just check out one more exhibit. Highly recommended.
