Mushrooming is a tense little cosmic terror game where you go searching for a mythical mushroom in a forest and make a startling discovery.
In Mushrooming you have rented a remote cabin in a forest that’s rumored to be home to a large mythical mushroom called the Grand Bolete. You go out in search of the giant shroom but there’s someone else out there – a deranged astronaut with a gun. You’ll have to find a way of dealing with the astronaut if you want to get to the bottom of what’s going on.
It’s a fun little horror game with an interesting premise and an antagonist that’s surprisingly terrifying. Seeing an astronaut wandering about a forest is jarring (in a good way) and he’s pretty relentless!
