My boyfriend the necromancer

My Boyfriend the Necromancer is a funny, charming and inventive little gay necromancing puzzle adventure in which you have to figure out various spells and free a man who has literally waited a lifetime to be with you.

Your goal in My Boyfriend the Necromancer is to cast a powerful spell that will free a man who you met while you were dying in a previous life. He held you in his arms while you died and became so infatuated with you that he cast a powerful spell that kept him alive long enough to hook up with your re-incarnation (the present you). The problem is that Karma doesn’t take kindly to such meddling, and imprisoned him within a powerful forcefield that you’ll need to break if you ever want to be re-united.

In My Boyfriend the Necromancer you control your character with the WASD keys and the mouse as in any traditional third person adventure, but the way you cast spells is by actually typing them out on the keyboard (so for instance, typing ‘fire’ will cause you cast a fireball). You don’t actually know that many spells at the start of the game though, so will have to try and figure them out by paying attention to what other characters say and by experimenting with commands.

It’s a fun little game with a silly story and a fun sense of humor, with no overly sexual content (it’s more just a bit of romance and innuendo). It impresses with it’s fun spell(ing)-based puzzle design, quirky characters and light hearted wizards rom-com story. A charming little necromantic puzzle adventure well worth checking out.

Controls: WASD – Movement, Mouse – Look, Spacebar – Cast Spell (then type)
