My Keyboard is Full of Ants is an addictive typing warfare game where you type out words on your keyboard to kill the ants that have infested it.
Created for Ludum Dare 56, My Keyboard is Full of Ants is a typing game that’s more about your vocabulary than your speed of typing. Each turn ants will scurry across your keyboard and then stand still on certain keys. You need to try and think of words that contain as many of those letters as possible and type them out to kill the ants on those keys.
You earn points for different things like word length, rare letters used, ants killed, etc), and as you progress you earn upgrades. Different types of ants are introduced later on too to keep you on your toes.
It’s a simple and clever concept that makes for some very addictive gameplay. It kinda scratches the same itch as Scrabble (or Words with Friends), but it’s single-player and sees you battling an ant infestation! Highly recommended.
