Nemoral is a Resident Evil-esque survival horror adventure that delivers a delightfully dark and twisted take on a classic fairy tale as you explore a mansion that may be linked to the disappearance of several young children in the area.
In Nemoral you take on the role of a police officer called Pipa who ends up separated from her partner while searching a large Resident Evil style mansion. The mansion belongs to a cult who are suspected in the disappearance of several young children, but the truth may make you see a well known fairy tale in a whole new light…
Nemoral plays a lot like a top-down retro version of Resident Evil 1, with you exploring a mysterious mansion, discovering different types of keys to unlock doors, using save rooms and shooting monsters. As in Resident Evil, your ammunition is quite limited so you need to make every shot count and you also have limited inventory slots so you need to decide what to carry and what to leave behind.
Taking around 30 minutes to play through, Nemoral is a fantastic slice of retro survival horror. The narrative is interesting, the visuals are excellent and each encounter with a monster is a tense experience where every bullet counts. Highly recommended.
