Nightclub Showdown is a stylish John Wick inspired turn based shooter that sees you attempting to survive waves of deadly attacks in a nightclub.
In Nightclub Showdown you take control of a lone gunman who is trying to survive increasingly tough attacks from enemy henchmen. Your character’s actions are controlled entirely via the mouse, with you clicking on areas you want to move to or the enemies you want to shoot.
There are two main enemy types – gun wielders and grenade throwers, both of which can do some serious damage, and you’ll often need to prioritise between the two. You can aim for headshots which are more powerful but take more time or you can go for faster body shots that do less damage. You can also duck behind crates for cover and you’ll also need to find some time to reload occasionally too (which you do by clicking on yourself).
It’s a short, stylish and tough little game. The action is entirely turn based, but that doesn’t make the game any less intense – you’ll have to plan your actions carefully as you attempt to deal with multiple henchmen attacking at the same time. John wick makes it look easy, can you?
