Nordavind is a charming little third person action platforming adventure that harkens back to the N64 era as you help a little Norwegian girl traverse a snowy landscape and rescue her teddy bear.
Taking around 20 minutes to play through, in Nordavind you take control of a little girl who is searching the icy Norwegian landscape for her teddy. It’s a beautiful but dangerous land, filled with obstacles to climb and monsters that need to be dispatched with well aimed snowballs. It’s not the toughest of games, but there are 109 pine cones to find that can up the difficulty a little (make sure you thoroughly search the fist area before leaving).
Nordavind is clearly aimed at a younger audience as it’s not particularly challenging, but even older gamers will get a kick out of it’s quaint visuals and N64-esque 3D open world platformer gameplay. A cute and cheerful frostbitten adventure full of retro charm.
