Office Party is a silly first person stealth zombie game where you attempt to turn everyone at your fancy dress office party into zombies.
You have turned up to your anual office fancy dress party at your game development studio. Everyone is very impressed with your zombie costume and you seems to have really got into character. Unbeknownst to them you actually are a zombie though and you’re hungry for human flesh!
You can wander around the office and chat to colleagues (well they chat to you, zombies can’t talk), but what you really want to do is try and isolate them and attack them from behind to turn them into zombies. If you attack in a crowded area people will see you and either run away (and escape the building) or run at you and attack you with weapons. Oddly enough everyone has gone method and decided to bring real weapons to match their fancy dress costumes!
If everyone runs away or a mob starts to attack you then you’re not going to get many humans turned into zombies. To start your own full scale office zombie apocalypse you’ll need to put a little more thought into your actions. There are keys scattered around the office – maybe you can lock the exits so no one can escape or you can lock people in rooms and turn them one by one until you have the numbers for a full scale attack!
Office Party does have quite a few rough edges and annoying bugs but it’s a lot of fun figuring out the best way to spread the zombie virus and there are lots of great little touches – such as the humorous descriptions of the items you find around the office or being able to chat with every character before you decide to feast on them. A zombie office adventure that’s rough around the edges but a whole lot of fun.
