Out of Fix is a beautiful 2D precision platformer Sci-Fi adventure where you control a maintenance robot that has regained consciousness, decades after your ship crashed on an inhospitable alien planet.
In Out of Fix you control an agile little maintenance robot as it explores the ruins of its spaceship which crashed decades ago on an alien planet. You can jump, attack and use a directional dash which recharges when you touch the floor or dash through an alien creature. This dash ability is particularly invaluable and really comes in handy as you make your way through the ship.
Taking around 20 minutes to play through, Out of Fix really impresses with its beautiful 2D pixel art visuals, tight controls and challenging gameplay. The only downside is that it doesn’t support the use of the D-pad on a controller, with you instead of having to use the analogue stick which isn’t quite as accurate. It’s a great little game though that offers a real challenge and slowly makes you take on more impossible looking feats of agility.
