Park Lane is a creepy little PS1 styled first person horror game where you wait for a train in an underground station that’s home to a shadowy (and hungry) creature.
Created in 48 hours for Ludum Dare, Park Lane is a short atmospheric horror game that takes place late at night in an underground train station. You wait at your platform for your train home. Aside from the occasional passing train, there’s no sign of life. But then you glimpse a shadowy entity over on the opposite platform…
Taking around 10 minutes to play through, there’s not a whole lot of interactivity in Park Lane (you just wander around the platform while creepy things happen), but it’s a very tense and atmospheric experience with some great little touches. The tension really ramps up as the time ticks by and you pray for your train to take you away to safety. The train may go on, but there’s a good chance this will be your last stop!
