Plasticity is a short 2.5D puzzle platforming adventure where a young boy makes small choices which can help save a post-apocalyptic world that’s been destroyed by unchecked plastic consumption.
Taking place in the year 2140 where plastic consumption has left the world riddled with plastic waste, in Plasticity you take control of a young boy called Noa as he embarks on a journey that may help save the world. The world is littered with garbage and the local wildlife is dying, but the actions you do or do not perform as you travel through it can have a significant impact – something you’ll notice as you travel back through it.
There are a few issues with glitches and floaty controls, but it’s an interesting little game with a great visual style and it’s hard no to agree with its sentiment. It’s easy to stick your head in the sand over environmental issues, but that’s not going to make them go away and even the smallest of changes or actions we make can make a big difference. It’s never too late!
