Plead With The Mountain God is a PS1 styled dark fantasy horror 3D platforming adventure where you climb a huge ruined tower to plead with a god to resurrect your loved one.
In Plead With The Mountain God you bring your recently deceased beloved to an ancient temple to try and resurrect her. To do this you’ll need to climb a huge tower and appease a powerful god. Around the tower are some worshipers who will give you some insight into the tower and the task ahead of you. The area is also littered with the graves, ghosts and hearts of many who have failed the ascent – this isn’t going to be easy!
Taking around 30 to 60 minutes to play through, Plead With The Mountain God blends classic 3D platforming with metroidvania elements and a doom-filled Soulsian dark fantasy setting. The retro PS1 styled visuals look fantastic, the platforming is tight and the lore of the tower is fascinating. It even has two endings to discover if you fancy making the ascent twice. Highly recommended.
