Prince of Prussia is a great little Prince of Persia inspired Pico-8 puzzle platformer where you sneak through hazard-filled levels and kill lots of Nazis.
The gameplay and aesthetic in Prince of Prussia is very much inspired by Prince of Persia, but the gameplay is a lot faster and it’s broken down into single screen bite-sized levels that you can complete in under a minute. Your goal in each level is to open the gate to the exit and make your way there. However, there are lots of gun-wielding Nazis between you and your goal, so you need to sneak up on them and execute them. And you’ll also have to be careful of any spikes or big drops which will cause an instant death.
It’s a simple and addictive game that takes everything from the original Prince of Persia game and makes it smaller, more accessible and fun. The level design is excellent and it’s always fun executing Nazis. Highly recommended.
