Project Explosion is fun physics based puzzle platformer that sees you attempting to survive and escape from slow motion explosions that decimate surrounding structures, sending debris flying everywhere!
Project Explosion features 10 levels in total (including tutorial levels), each of which sees you trapped in an area with a bomb that’s about to go off. The levels are split up into two categories – Survival and Escape. In Survival you simply have to try and avoid the blast radius of the bomb and avoid the falling debris. In Escape you have to do the same thing, but also try and make it to an escape point. Due to the randomness of the explosions some of the Escape levels are near impossible, but the game lets you skip past them so you won’t miss any of the rest of it’s explodey fun.
It’s a fun game that’s crying out for a Sandbox/Level Editor mode for some custom built carnage, but even without a Sandbox mode it’s great fun. It is a little rough around the edges, but Project Explosion is a joy to see in motion, with you watching on in glee as the explosions rip through massive structures and send debris flying everywhere. A great little slice of physics based bomb blasting fun.
