Project:Kepler is a creepy first person Sci-Fi horror adventure that sees you avoiding space zombies and using a gravity gun to move objects as you attempt to escape a critically damaged space station.
In Project:Kepler you find yourself trapped in a space station where all your crew members are dead. Being dead doesn’t stop them from shuffling towards you and attempting to kill you though, so you’d better avoid them and find some way to escape in one piece!
There are four floors to the space station, with you starting on the bottom one and attempting to make it to the top one to escape (depending on the ending you choose). The elevators between the levels need to be powered up though, which means you’ll have to search for power sources on each floor. Some areas may be blocked off or out of reach, but thankfully you have a nifty gravity gun which can be used to move large objects and even freeze them in mid-air.
Project:Kepler takes around 20 minutes to playthrough and really impresses with its creepy atmosphere and fun gravity gun mechanics. Some of the jump scares do feel a little cheap but most of them land well. The checkpoint system seems a little broken at the moment, so if you die you’ll have to repeat the whole floor again, but it’s unlikely you’ll die too often anyway. It’s a great game though – well worth checking out for its fun physics based puzzles and tense atmosphere.
