Psibinski is a cleverly crafted puzzler with challenging and inventive grid based puzzles that are fondly reminiscent of The Witness, but instead of controlling the beam of light directly you interact with the nodes within the grids to help guide it to the exit.
The grid-based puzzles in Psibinski initially look very similar to The Witness, but the actual puzzle design and the way you interact with them is very different. Your goal in each puzzle is to guide the glowing light towards the exit. Along the way toward the exit there are various nodes that can be used to change the direction of the glowing light as well as ‘keys’ that occasionally need to be picked up on route.
Much like The Witness, Psibinski does an excellent job of incrementally teaching you the rules of how the different different nodes work within the puzzles – eventually allowing you to solve very complex puzzles that you’d never have been able to figure out at the start of the game. It’s a fun, stylish and challenging little puzzler well worth checking out if you’re looking for something that’ll scratch that post-The Witness logic based puzzle itch!
