Puzzle Sigma is an inventive little puzzle game where you attempt to maneuver mathematical operators around the screen to build equations.
Created for the GMTK Game Jam 2021, Puzzle Sigma is a puzzle game that feels a bit like a blend of Maths and Baba is You. In each level you need to make your way to the exit flag, but to do so you need to be the correct shape or the correct numerical value (or both).
You start each level controlling a single operator (+, – or x) and when you maneuver it around the level any numbers or operators you come in contact with are permanently joined to your equation. There are often locks in your way that can only be unlocked if you create an equation that equals that value – so if a lock has the number six on it you may need to create a 4+2 equation.
It’s a great little puzzle game with a clever concept and lots of inventive puzzle design that will test your mathematical aptitude and your spatial maneuvering skills. Highly recommended.
