In Puzzled Love you piece together scenes from a rundown little apartment that a young couple has just moved into. You overlay the new scenes on top of the old ones, with the pieces slotting together like large jigsaw pieces. Once each scene is completed a part of the story plays you, often with the young couple not having the best of times.
It’s a simple, yet effective storytelling mechanic that tells a realistic and meaningful story within its short play time. It’s particularly enjoyable watching as the apartment evolves over time and tells just as much of the young couple’s story as the dialogue between them. Highly recommended.
