QT is a quirky little game that delivers a very different take on the looping corridors of P.T., as it trades unspeakable horrors for charming and cheerful hand drawn creatures of all shapes and sizes.
The architecture of the looping hallway you walk through in QT will be immediately recognizable to anyone who’s played P.T., but rather than terrifying you with grotesque horrors, QT overwhelms you with cuteness. Your aim is to find your best buddy, Weemble, but doing so requires uncovering the many secrets hidden within the games looping hallways.
Each time you travel through the corridor it contains a (usually) randomly selected scene, filled with quirky characters and smiley faces. Much like in P.T. you need to experiment with your surroundings to discover secrets and complete the game. You get achievements for each secret you discover, and a lot of the time it unlocks a new skill, such as being able to grab objects, use a camera or being able to run.
Figuring out the ridiculously obtuse way you reach the ending may cause some frustration, but it’s a lot of fun roaming the hallways of QT and discovering the many secrets it holds nonetheless. A delightfully cheerful take on the P.T. looping corridor concept that’s full of weird and wonderful sights. Highly recommended.
