REDS OVER WORLD is a massive DOOM total conversion mod where you take control of Soviet, American and European forces in missions during the Cold War.
Drawing inspiration from Far Cry 1, The Punisher, Call Of Duty 1 and Blade of Agony, is a huge 10+ hour DOOM total conversion mod where you play as all sides during the Cold War. There are 30 very large missions split across three factions and six continents. There are also three different characters to play as – a Soviet Spetsnaz Operative, a US Marine and a European Agent.
It borrows plenty of assets from other mods and games (they’re all credited), but there’s a lot of original assets in there too, the level design is fantastic and it all feels like one cohesive package. It’s a remarkable mod that’s packed full of fun surprises and bombastic set-pieces as you blow up tanks, meltdown nuclear reactors and assassinate heads up state. Highly recommended.
Note: You will need an official DOOM 2 .WAD file and GZDoom to play this mod (so you need to own a copy of DOOM 2). Once unzipped, copy the DOOM 2 .WAD file and the Siren .pk3 file into the GZDoom folder. Then select the .pk3 file and drag it on-top of the GZDoom.exe to start the game (you’ll probably want to customize your controls before you start playing).
