Remnants is a very stylish and atmospheric Sci-Fi adventure with a touch of horror, which follows an explorer as they descend into the depths of a mysterious underground facility created by a long dead civilization.
In Remnants you take on the role of a humanoid being as it explores a mysterious facility that appears to have been built by an ancient civilization – the human race. The upper levels are full of graffiti, art, discarded waste and strange plant-life, but as you descend things start to get a whole lot weirder. What is this place? What was it for? And how is it so well preserved?
The gameplay in Remnants is fairly simple, with you searching each level for an object that will help you unlock the way to a lower level. It’s the visual style and attention to detail in the environment that’s really incredible though. The facility is packed with weird and wonderful Sci-Fi contraptions, artworks, plant-life and monstrous looking animal remains – all of which your character has some observations/opinions about when you investigate them. A fascinating adventure with some strange secrets hidden within its depths.
