Replay is a very intense little first person horror game where a video game starts to seep into reality one dark and stormy night.
In Replay you sit down at a classic 16-bit video game console (which has an Atari joystick) and play a video game in your bedroom. The video game is a fairly basic platformer, but it’s not long until things start to get weird. The game starts acting up and things start moving in your room…
The premise is pretty similar to the excellent CAIN, but it’s a little better formed and has more of a narrative. It’s got a very tense atmosphere and there are a couple of well executed scares. A clever blend of .exe style games and fourth wall breaking. Highly recommended.
