Return. is a rage-inducing and slightly eerie little precision platforming adventure that sees you navigating obstacles as you guide a lost soul home.
In Return. you take control of a little soul that’s trying to find its way home. As you make your way down through the clouds in the game’s large single auto-scrolling level you’ll avoid deadly hazards, operate switches and avoid falling to your doom. You can’t jump very high, but you can jump three times in the air to help you reach further and higher.
The charming pixel artwork may make Return. look like a cutesy platformer but it’s surprisingly tough. You could probably complete the game in under five minutes if could make your way through without dying, but it’ll take much longer for that for most players as death will come often as you make your way down from the heavens. It’s a great little game, with excellent pixel art animation, a beautiful audio score and challenging level design that’ll really test your precision platforming skills. It may look cute, but it’ll kick your ass!
